- Duke TIP Programs: All Duke TIP programs are designed specifically for gifted students and provide them with motivation, challenge, inspiration, advanced interactive learning opportunities, peer interaction, and more.
- Duke TIP Independent Learning Courses: Whether you’re ready for a new academic challenge, looking to augment your regular efforts, preparing for more advanced courses in the future, or just want to explore new subjects, Duke TIP’s Independent Learning courses offer fun and engaging learning options. All courses were designed by gifted educations experts.

- North Carolina Mathematics and Science Education Network (MSEN): The mission of the NC-MSEN is to broaden the pool of students pursuing mathematics and science based majors and careers. It actively recruits and prepares students of average to above average ability in grades 6-12 who may have not been sufficiently exposed to mathematics and science based courses and careers.
- HOBY: HOBY provides students, for whom most are selected by their schools, the opportunity to participate in unique leadership training, service-learning, and motivation-building experiences, beginning a lifelong dedication to improving the lives of others.
- Summer Ventures: Summer Ventures in Science and Mathematics is a no-cost, state-funded program for academically talented North Carolina students who aspire to careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. As a rising high school junior or senior, you live on a college campus for four weeks in the summer and conduct research around topics of your interest.
- Governor's School of North Carolina: The Governor's School of North Carolina is a five and one-half week summer residential program for intellectually gifted high school students, integrating academic disciplines, the arts, and unique courses.
